Try Chari n Co in NYC. They seem to have a good relationship with them.
Plus they are just over the water too -

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to have a gangsta.
-
• #12
can't wait to own one, hopefully it all works out.

Did you track down a fork?
Im guessing you've already got a frame! -
• #14
still trying to track down the fork, i don't actually have the frame yet but i reckon it will be in my possession soon. the frame is nothing without the original fork though.
-
• #15
Honestly, the clusterfork is stronger, lighter, stiffer and flex less than the original however ugly it is.
Or even just go for a carbon one.
-
• #16
the clusterfork is definitely an option and i reckon i'l purchase it along with the frame, i just much prefer the original fork.
-
• #17
Understandable, I felt the same as well, but after a while trying to chase those pillocks at BMW, I feel the fork is perfectly fine.
The only thing didn't liked is how stiff it is, but that changed once I swapped the stupidly skinny 23c tyres for a nice and fast 28c one.

i'm used to riding ishiwata tubing around which is pretty damn stiff but i will also be using bigger tyres. quite excited, never ridden on anything bigger than 23c before!

this guy rides his brooklyn with a easton cyclocross fork, looks pretty good -

it does indeed. bit spendy though and if i'm going to spend then i'd much rather do it on the OG fork.

You'll be in for a pleasant surprised after putting in some lightweight 28c or even 32c tyres on.

what do you recommend? i was thinking marathon plus or vittoria randonneur but i know both of those are heavy as fuck, especially the marathons.
-

They're both ridiculously heavy, the Bontrager is pretty light for a 28c tyres (as well as the Gatorskin).
it's possible to get a really light 32c at 280g, but that have no puncture protection.

I haven't found the original fork flex but then again I just ride it. Not chuck it down stairs n what not!

il probably go with something like a gatorskin, i trust gatorskins.

i won't be doing anything like that either apart from the odd curb here and there.
