It's a 4 day event organised through Vos Media (Bike Show promoters). John and Josh have been below the radar to avoid too many emails as there is only one court and space for 20 teams (they've tried to secure the top 20 teams from the Euros I think).
Anyone can become an LHBPA member and catch up with the conversation-to-date in the LHBPA forum: http://www.lhbpa.org/join/
LHBPA members also get free access to the Bike Show. Sorry for the lack of info, Josh or John may chime in with more details...

Thanks Jono - didn't know there was another forum, that explains the changing nature of this one.

Jono beat me to it, and nailed it. Sorry for the lack of info, it will all be online soon we're just waiting for a few things to fall into place.

Trying to rep all female teams. Show off the boys and girls that are awesome at our sport.

deffo a good thing to have a girls team there, especially as Tornadoes can certainly mix it with the top sides

Good luck with what sounds like an awesome exhibition tournament. Getting polo out to the wider (cycling) world should really help grow the sport.
I tried to get something similar going at the Cycle Show in Birmingham, but a promising start fizzled out into nothing. After this one, I'll pester the organisers again to show what can be achieved.

This was meant to happen last year but fizzled out (lack of funds), keep persisting!

Wasn't it originally conceived of for the one before but they were approached too late? Iirc.

Yeah, I approached the Bike Show after the LFGSS stall at the Cycle Show, there wasn't enough time really and I couldn't find a suitable court for the budget that we were given. I might still have some Cycle Show contacts somewhere actually... although they might not be relevant for the new NEC show?

I exchanged a few emails with who I thought was the boss - Something Brabazon. He was interested to do something outside because the inside was too lucrative, but when I went there, there seemed to be a lot of un-used space.
What's the skinny re. the rather clandestine polo event at the London Bike Show? Bemused as to it's below radar status and lack of information here.
Anyone going to watch or participate? Are there throw in times available for below standard/uninvited/grass roots polo players? Can we get free/cheap tickets or passes?
Anyone know anything???
