I'm obviously interested but might not be in town that day. Sounds good though.

By the way, even a regular alleycat is pretty knackering when you try to take it quickly, and when you're as unfit as all of us lot. So another race on the same day might not be the best idea, I don't know.

Sounds like a good laugh. Would probably prefer to do this over the alleycat.

This point-to-point is cancelled due to lack of interest, but the Alleycat will still go ahead.
Are any of you guys interested in competing in a point-to-point style Bicycle time trial?
Basically, you are given a printed set of way point locations that you have to visit as you navigate your way across the city in the fastest possible time.
There will be a Silva orienteering card punch at each location for you to use as proof of passage. http://www.aboveandbeyond.co.uk/.Silva-Control-Punches-B-Box-of-10-_7318860117183.htm
This event will start at 2pm on Wednesday 28th of December from the Woolie public house in Muspole street, and it will finish there. The rider who turns in a fully punched sheet in the fastest time will be the winner.
The Norwich AlleyCat treasure hunt starts at the forum at 11am and will be finishing at the Woolie, so there is a possibility of you riding in both events.
If you are interested please let me know, so that I have some idea the numbers of those wanting to compete, and I will organise this point-to-point, and set out a route, etc.
