agree with above posts re malt loaf, its ace but i spread butter on each slice, and also bananas and i am especially partial to the toffee coated flapjakcs....drool.
oh yes and lager, not sure this is particularly performance enhancing but psycologically its just the ticket :)

I am just wondering what you eat during a long ride or race??
I tend to have power bar cookies and cream on long runs with short ones fuelled by jelly beans and wine gums :) anyone have any really strange preferences?
It has to be some sort of cake at the mid ride cafe stop, that and a hot chocolate!
