Surely the clears come with the correct nuts and plates? Mine always have.

Have you tried these guys?

the plates normally come with the shoes not with cleats which have nuts and the outer securing plates but not the ones that fit in the shoes. There should be no reason that these were removed.
I might have some new ones in a box if you get stuck -

I have some that I don't need, I'm sure. In fact there's a pair under my desk right here. I live in Forest Hill too, so could drop them round some time, maybe after work today. Let me know if that's any use to you.

I seem to remember Chainbreaker snapping one of those, you could ask him where he got a replacement.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully Ludd will be able to sort me out tomorrow.
I don't know why I don't have the plates, to be honest. My shoes were second hand and they didn't have them in, and my pedals came with cleats but no nuts.
Which is nuts. -

Ludd is a gentleman and a scholar.
Hi, I'm after a pair of 'nuts'/'plates' for SPD cleats. I've tried the LBS, but they just gave me a blank stare.
It's these things http://www.petracycles.co.uk/sha100-cleat-p-17093.html
My shoes are Adidas MTB ones, but I think it's a standard shape so should fit?
Anyone got some that I can buy off you for a few quid, I got cleats with my pedals but no nuts.
Ta.
