Yeah get those pics bigger.
Also, can you not order these from Alien? I thought Mdcc tester posted it a while ago.
I like them. -

Oooh. Sarcasm.

I dont have bigger pics unfortunately, but the website does. You can order standard aliens direct, but nobody has this size/version as these were custom
If it helps, I've also taken the hit on the customs charges and postage for you here! -

Nooooo. I bought your (Tallboy) old PX frame off Aserota but 6 days ago. Would have been all over this if I hadn't done that. Sigh.

Looks nice in real life.

it looks better than the pics you're right. thanks for blowing up photos- someone is cleverer than me :-)
how come he sold the PX already? blimey..you cant keep track in this place! -
• #12
He hadn't built it up and preferred the money, can't argue with that. I'm rather looking forward to Herne Hill re-opening in the spring.

You cant keep track very good that

Road bike training at HH on Saturdays for the next few weeks...

Good price.
I was thinking about getting one of these for next season. They seem pretty good for the money.
I have opted for a new road frame instead though, and Will stick with my PX at the track..... And this one is about a foot too big for me.Sean, one of the Rollas, was looking for a track frame with a suitably long top tube a while ago, as his Condor was giving him issues. You should get in touch with him, as I dont think he ever got round to replacing it.... Cant remember his user name though... Maybe STE5??
-
• #16
It was STE5.
I need a top tube of at least 600mm, preferably 610.
My 60cm Dolan FXE winter bike has a horizontal TT of 605ish. But it's heavy and long and ugly and I don't really want to race on it. The position I'd want on the track needs a 135mm stem on the dolan FXE.
Any help appreciated.
Alien bikes make a big frame especially for tall riders or those needing a long reach (short femurs long arms)
http://alienbikes.com/v3/That's nice. X-mas list...
Not sure I like the insinuation that I have alien like proportions.

As much as I would like this, it's £400 more than I can afford...
If you haven't shifted it by the end of January, I'll get in touch.

Nice frame!
FOR SALE
My one off in the UK alien V3 stealth bomber frameset (not full bike!)- size XL- more info on geometry etc is available here on the alien site http://alienbikes.com/v3/
Asking £400 + postage- frame, forks, headset, seatclamp + spacers to adjust height
Fork is drilled for road use, but is track geometry.
Fits approx 6foot6 to 6foot2 folks (I am 6foot4- there are spacers to raise the seat)
There are only 3 of these in the world- 1 with the guy who owns alien, 1 in australia and 1 here for sale. They were built to custom geometry and spec for me and the guy who owns alien who are both 6 foot 4.
Unfortunately an upcoming wedding and career change (with pay cut) means I have to reduce my bike stock and be realistic that this wont get used for a bit.
This has been used 10 times indoors, plus a couple of roller sessions. There is a small mark in the paint inside the chainstay where I pulled my wheel out the first time I used it (twice..I dont learn) but you cant see this in use and could touch it up.
You cant really see on the pics but the frame is a really nice half matt blackpaint/ half bare carbon finish. I reckon you could polish a shine onto it but I never did.
Any questions etc pm me and i will do my best to answer, but note the bike is currently stored at the velodrome so I cant just pop downstairs and take photos/measure things. The website should answer most of your Q's?
