  • Allen & Heath XONE 42 would be perfect! But anything considered!
Can pay cash and also have a few nice parts that could trade

    cheers

  • Eurgk I hate allen and Heath mixers, too many pointless buttons.

  • there great when you know how to use them mate

  • I always enjoyed playing on Allen Heaths... not such a fan of DJMs

  • Yeah they are great, industry standad and best filters for sure.
Plus no gimmicky effects that you will find on the DJM's!
But I need a mixer fast so let me know if you have anything please people?

  • Im also in the market for a small mixer (with USB) for computer recording. Must phantom power and good dynamic range.

  • A&H are sweet. 'spensive though.

  • there great when you know how to use them mate

i know how to use it mate,

shit mixer, so many unnecessary buttons.

  • each and every button has a use. so i dont really understand what your saying?
could you give me an example of a worthless button?
personally i think the buttons you use depends on your style of mixing

  • being able to turn the fader off - useless button number one

  • the fact that you can't hear the eq levels being cut in the headphones, even on split mode is shite

  • it is all well and good have 2 lows, but if you want to kill the bass, you have two knobs, not one.

  • anyway, get whatever mixer you want, i just hate that so many clubs have them, and they suck

  • fair enough..what mixer would you recommend over a A&H?

  • as far as i have played, most clubs use a+h or DJM, so if you playing out, id say djm, but im a big fan of vestax, (pcv275 is still awesome)

I have a shitty behringer at home, so im still asking the same question, i just don't like the allen+heath.

  • I've switched off a x fader in the past.

    #justsayin

  • someone sell me a mixer please???

  • Djr400

  • I've always lusted after an ecler....

  • im tempted to go rotary! has anyone got one and rate it over faders?

  • as far as i have played, most clubs use a+h or DJM, so if you playing out, id say djm, but im a big fan of vestax, (pcv275 is still awesome)

Christ you have a lot to learn…

A & H mixers sound soooo much better than most. The DJM's sound shite and the EQ's are also shite.

  • im tempted to go rotary! has anyone got one and rate it over faders?

Depends on your style I guess, I like the accuracy of faders with gain adjustment as i punch in quite a lot. If you mix smoothly then rotary might suit. I'd go for faders though every time.

  • ^^This. The electronics are dreadful and you're better off turning off any processing they do. Quite a few vestax have removable faders that can swapped out for rotaries but you get what you pay for in terms of sound quality. Just make sure rotaries suit ALL of your styles.

  • its the rotary valve mixer in fabric main room thats made me want one! seen that thing being abused! think i'll stick to the faders though. play it safe

  • Played on this a few times - loved it and it sounded amazing.
