Looks very clean for the age. Someone's in for a bargain!
-
• #7
I hate being 5'10" sometimes...
-
• #8
What's the top tube on this?
-
• #9
It's the tube that runs from the seat tube to the head tube, but that's not important right now...
-
• #10
What is important right now?
-
• #11
Sexy but too big for me.
-
• #12
Is this too small for me?
-
• #13
le sigh. No one watches poor quality 80's comedies anymore.
-
• #14
No, I believe it's perfect for you, Tenderloin.
(wait, how tall are you? I love the idea of Sadaat being your mini-boss and you looming over him)
-
• #15
Boss? That's quite a yarn he's been spinning...
6'2 (I like to think I am now 6'3, but yet to have this confirmed).
I like seeing our actual bosses bike, then Sadaat's then mine lent up against each other.

On the basis of no information I am going to say that this would be too small for you- you need the XL.
-
• #17
Dammit is wrong.
-
• #18
Never!
-
• #19
Is her bike even smaller than Sadaats? CRAZY.
I'm inclined to agree with 6pt, but if you are interested, then come over and ride it.
-
• #20
Nhat and 6pt are trying to trick you- don't listen to them, it's too small, you'd look ridiculous
-
• #21
^^^Yup. Geo on my carbon TCR is almost identical, and I ride it with a 100mm stem and reasonable amount of seatpost, size L. me = 6'2".
Nhatt, where are you based? my buddy is keen to come up and have a look at it, and I'm keen to go with him (so I can take it when he changes his mind) -
• #22
Norf London. Any good for you?
-
• #23
doable enough. need to get him in touch with you to arrange things and he's not on the forum which makes life tedious, could you pm me a number I can get him to call to sort everything out? or email address I suppose. christ I hate doing all of this stuff
/initiating dodgy off-forum dealings -

Yeah it's tiny!
Has Sadaat seen the bike?
I'd like to stand behind 6pt in the queue as I'd need to shift a bike first. -

585mm TT...
Selling this on behalf of my mate who's moved overseas.
Anodized Giant TCR AluxX SL 6013 smooth welded raceframe (2004 I think), similar to the frame Laurent Jalabert used when he won the King of the Mountains back in 2001. De-stickered, smooth welds and with a very tough anodized finish (Ti-esque). This was a pretty cutting edge frameset at the time with Giant quoting a medium frame weighing in @ 1225g.
Size large/55.5cm - would suit somone 6ft+:
In excellent condition and not seen much use at all (hence the sale). Full Shimano 6500 Ultegra 9sp groupset including the distinctive WH-6500 Ultegra wheels (running smooth, true and with loads of braking life left on the rims). Bike comes fully serviced with new cable, outer, new brake pads, bartape, etc and ready to roll. Loads of spacers too so pretty adaptable still in term of handlebar height/setup).
Forks: Giant Aero (carbon legs/alloy steerer)
Bars: Bontrager SSR Compact 42cm (c-2-c) (31.8mm)
Chainset: Shimano Ultegra 6500 175mm (53/39T)
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 12-23T
Stem: Profile Design ARIS 115mm (31.8mm)
Seatpost: Easton EA50 27.2mm
Saddle: Velo Ti Rails (can prob swap for a black Charge Spoon, etc if not keen on the brown)
Tyres: Schwalbe Durano/Conti Gatorskin (both 25c)
Bad bits - tiny ding on the toptube and missing name plates on the STI levers. Apart from that it's in great condition.
£400 ono
Buyer collects (London) - sorry, no posting.
Pics in a mo.
