-

have a bump, nice bike
-
• #10
It's 531 Competition tubing and the bike is currently fitted with tubulars. If you want clinchers we'd have to arrange something with the wheels. I can certainly deliver with an extra set for clinchers.

Can't have one according to board rules...they'll come for me if I do that.
Only with price drop, but I'm not ready yet. -

You can't.
He can. -

One of my, if not most, favorite colorschemes. Lovely!
Price seems fair for a NOS bike like this too! -
• #14
What rims are on it??
-

What rims are on it??
the rims are Mavics for tubs. I have an excellent set of clincher wheels w/ Campy hubs to go with the bike at negotiable surcharge.
[EDIT: hubs appear to be Campy and Shimano!]

some one buy this and do the Eroica next year, it could easily cost more to build one, then i can have peace and stop thinking about it.

The downhills on L'Eroica are full on mountainbiking, so next year Im riding a 'rat' historic, it would be a total injustice in my view to use this bike.....I got the impression its only first time people from England that use a good a bike on it.

• #18
that's a hell of a bike, and the price comes at a bargain......well worth 500 quid more, if it was sold in pieces it would make stupid money imo....
another free bump for a great deal! -

Stunning!
Amazing story, this. I came across this Gazelle via a former Gazelle dealer (mr. De Nijs, 3rd photo) who had just retired. He'd had this cycle in his shop for over 30 years and moved it around until it ended up hanging on his storage space's ceiling. The only (insignificant) marks it has are from its life in the shop, where the brake hoods unfortunately deteriorated over time along with a couple of small marks of time.
Although it's "only" an A-Frame it's fully outfitted with Campagnolo Record. They beautiful mother-of-pearl and burgundy two tone paintwork is nearly immaculate, with just the above mentioned insignificant shop marks. The photos tell the same story. Its size is 56.5 c-t.
I added this bike to my collection a while ago but I'm trying to make space for some new ones. That's why this one has to go.
