Passed a rider down at about 8am this morning, on the Lea Bridge Road, Leyton heading towards Hackney. Male rider about 40ish, dressed in roadie gear on a racing bike. Was conscious and lying in road being attended to by two Polish women. From the looks of things, one of them had hit him from behind. Didn't look too serious, and they were taking good care of him, which was nice to see

What bit of the road? Hate that road with a passion, come in from Walthamstow & even prefer the Tottenham Hale/Ferry Rd in comparison

One of the women was on the phone to the ambulance when I passed

The bit where they are currently doing loads of roadworks - I think Perth Road was the nearest road on the left. It's a mare down there at the best of times as you say.
