Hi,

I'm looking to generate some cash quickly, so here is my Roberts road frame for sale for £85. Here is is built up - apologies for the shocking photo. More to come.

Vital Stats
CHAS ROBERTS ROAD FRAME Reynolds 531 1994
Seat Tube (ctt): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 53.5cm (21in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 45mm

Basically, it's the perfect classic style, but with modern measurements frame. It's a lovely ride, very tight, horizontal dropouts so it's fixieable. The lug work is beautiful, all the craftsmanship you'd expect from Roberts, the fastback stays are a nice touch and make this small frame a little more proportioned.

I've got a shimano square taper bb to go with it, and the 105 headset is still in good nick. If I could keep it, I would.

The Bad:
The paint work has chips etc. and altho as a rule I'm against removing the original paint job, this would really benefit from a respray.

Also, fwiw, if it's not gone by the weekend for that price, then I'll be re-listing it at something closer to the £145 I paid. This is not an idle threat to increase demand etc, it's just that I specifically want cash money by the weekend, after that I'm in no rush. So for that reason, first person to cross my palm with silver, gets it.

Impressed at the number of speedy responses.

Here are some more shocking photos - my camera cable is at my folks place. The hipstermatic photo in the earlier post has the most accurate representation of colour... a sort of Ferrari / american apparel red.
