so its 300 for the poyner frame, if you are splitting?
-
• #3
I don't have time to split, but yes it would be. You can have the frame if someone else wants the wheels and the rest of the stuff that goes with it.
-
• #4
Alternatively, someone can have the poyner built as it is, if someone wants to buy the dolan frameset on its own, and the wheels/groupset I was going to put on the poyner.

The frame cost me £210, so I how does £180 delivered to London sound?

If you decide to split, I'd definitely want the strada cranks and the Miche BB.
-
• #10
I'll consider it, but don't wait/count on me

How about the whole lot, with pedals and chainring too? Would be much easier for me, so we could arrange a better price.

this thread is confusing as shit, what exactly is for sale in each lot?
-
• #13
TT bars alone?
-
• #14
Make me an offer then!?
I'd like to/would do. But payday is Monday, unfortunately for us both!

Louis: Sorry, it is confusing.
The planet x is the frameset, forks, wheels, wheelbag, and bars.
The Poyner was going to be built up with the parts pictured, but it can be taken as it is, if someone prefers that.
The dolan was going to be built up with the components from the poyner, but if someone would rather have the frame alone, then that's cool.
Everything is for sale though, and the more I can sell before I go, the better.Benjam: £25 for the bars sound fair?

Putting prices for the individual bits might help. How much for the campag wheels?
-
• #17
nvm, just found out they wont take over 20c

Not true. They're narrow to reduce wind resistance, and mean you can run 18c tyres without the rim being wider than the tyre. However, I've seen people runnign 25c tyres on Atlantas with no issues.
I'd take £230 for them?

How much do you want for the Corima Track wheels?
-
• #20
I'd take £650ono for them.
I payed £700, and haven't used them. Bought from Gizmond on here. There is a tiny ding in the rear disc, detail photo to follow.

Long story short: I'm leaving on the 28th October to sail around the Pacific for a few months, and I need to get as much cash together before then as possible, so I need to sell all my bikes.
First up is a Planet X stealth frameset in 56cm with a set of Corima track wheels, and I'll throw in a set of vision tt bars I was going to use with it. very nice stuff. I payed £1000 for the frameset and wheels, and haven't built it up yet. Make me an offer on this, and if it's high enough, you can have it.
Second is my Poyner pursuit bike (track lo-pro). It's built up like this at the moment, but I was planning on rawing the frame, and fitting these components. (you have to use your imagination for now, but I will do it and get some photos asap)
Campagnolo Atlanta 1996 rims on Miche primato hubs
Strada cranks (drive side will be polished before fitting), Amazing drilled 52t chainring (polished), concor saddle, nos miche 110mm BB, I think they're record pedals, with straps.
There is a tiny bit of rust on the bb shell, but also note how awesome the lugs are, and the machining in the bb shell.
Ideally somewhere in the region of £600-£700 for the whole thing (I payed £300 for the frame, and the wheels are easily worth £200+, plus some unique bits you wont see on any other bikes!) I have a more suitable seatpin for it, just needs a cog and chain to get it riding. I can organise and fit this, if you let me know the gearing you want.
The spec will be:
Poyner pursuit frame and fork (fits like a 57cm tt) (english bb threads)
28h Atlanta 1996 rims on Miche Primato hubs
Miche 110mm english threaded BB
Strada GS cranks (polished) with drilled 52t chainring
record pedals with leather straps
cinelli tempo bars (uncut)
cinelli 1R stem (10mm, I think)
Omas Italian threaded headset
concor saddle
unknown 27.2mm seatpost
Vredestein Clinchers
lock ring, but no cog/chain at the moment
Finally is a brand new, Dolan pre cursa. The (58cm) frame is in the post at the moment (that's how new it is!), and it's going to have all the bits from the Poyner (photo above) on it, to make it a super stealth machine. Literally every component will be black. I'd like atleast £550 for this.
Spec will be:
Dolan pre cursa (58cm)
Alpina carbon track forks (no drilling)
Alpina headset
Thomson 100mm X2 stem
FSA Omega compact bars
Sram S100 cranks, 48t chainring, with Truvativ BB
32h Velocity Deep V rims on Planet X pista hubs (3x rear, radial front)
Mike burrows carbon aero seatpost, and 27.2mm identiti inline seatpost (so you have the choice)
Charge knife saddle
Continental ultra sport tyres with loads of life.
KMC kool light chain
16t cog and lockring
Everything is in great condition, and well looked after. It all needs to be gone by Friday, so offers are welcome. I can deliver to Liverpool street station on Friday.
