Made me all choked up. Love hearing things like this. Restores my faith in humankind again, if only for a nanosecond.

He sounds like such a nice guy, just a genuine person that knows he has all he needs.

Been to the one in SF and Sacramento, was awesome, they liked the fact an English person decided to joined too.
The police were pretty cool in SF, Sacramento kind of, but they did it rather civilly, after 12pm with much announcement from the cop about 'loitering in the park', they brought all the police force in Sacramento, but no one made a move.
It was a surprisingly peaceful, 14 arrested without any restraint after 12:45.

I really wish I could support the one here in London more, I'm just so busy trying to make enough of a living to feed myself and pay rent that I literally have only made it down for an hour.
It would be nice if I could do something genuinely helpful, I'm just not sure what. Not having any money or time is an issue.

maybe you could take some supplies down there, water, fruit, bog paper, etc.

I cna hardly afford that stuff myself, tbh. I live on less than £50 a week, and that has to include my materials for my work.

I loved the movement, the only thing I can offer is my skill, of which is basically telling people that they need to adjust their saddle and handlebar position a bit better...

Ed, have a wash for heavens sake.
It is next to Godliness, you know...
I like the occupy movement, I don't have the answers, but I'm glad more people are asking the questions.
The thing I like the best is how this brings out the human in everyone, how we start to think beyond ourselves

This is a story about a guy who has been offering free drycleaning to people who are unemployed and have a job interview, he's been doing it for sometime, but it's made me realize how much more all of us can do to try and help each other out while trying to get the 1% to help (and take responsibility for their actions) as well.
