Mrak, just some gentle suggestions,

Would it work to release pairs of fixtures with similar teams?

So first is A v B, and C v D. And then the next is A v C, and B v D.
That way three or four teams could meet up and play all both their two fixtures at once, where possible.

Maybe start a thread for results only, so people can post in there, its an easy way to keep track of scores...?

There's two teams called TBC in division B, maybe call them something like Peckham Apples and Peckham Bananas just to differentiate until they name themselves, to avoid confusion.

Kev ,mark just posted it up for me and pique.

We are using challonge to randomize the fixture release. It will be luck of the draw.

No need for a thread with results only, that will go on the league website.

Hopefully the TBC teams will decide a name for themselves in due course.

i have asked for this to be moved into the main polo forum because it doesnt seem that busy in here..?

im off to play at downs now but if there are questions then max and i are more than happy to answer them.

League start time: 17/10/11

Fixture Format
Fixtures will consist of three 10 minute games, first to 5.
3 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss

League Format
Round Robin
Merit based split (2 Divisions):

• team seeding based on average of team’s individual player’s past results*
  
  

*With last years league results being most heavily weighted followed by NS events and Euros results.

If the number of registered teams is low, we will play home and away fixtures.

Fixture release format
Dependent on team numbers, fixtures will be release in windows, ie. two or three fixtures at once.

Forfeit Format
If your fixture is not played in the allotted window (window length will be determined by number of teams/league length)
Full points awarded and +5 goals
Forfeits to be decided by a league committee (made up of players from the other division)

Team Format
Teams consist of three core players (required for registration). Two core members must be present at each game.

Substitutions
A substitute cannot be registered as a core member of another League team.
Teams can use only one sub per fixture, but can use a sub as many times as necessary over the course of the season.

Rules
Use the up to date LHBPA ruleset.

Registration fee
£5 per registered player.
The league will be non profit, any monies received will be put towards the league eg. league patch/ trophy/ end of league BBQ.
In turn, if the nominal £5 is not enough to cover the above then fundraising to cover costs incurred will be necessary.

• Anything not discussed in this proposal will be at the discretion of the league committee.
