Beautiful frame and good price, but I don't think it's a Viner though.
See this topic, for more info: http://www.lfgss.com/thread54720.html

Looking at the picture posted I am confident it is a Viner, I bought this frame from the trader (still in business) who purchased it himself in the 1980's in Italy along with the other that I currently have listed in For sale section.

A Viner 'star'-lug usually looks like on this pic:

As you can read form the other topic, it's very likely that it has different Italian roots (probably Colnago-related, but built anonymously for a Dutch/Belgian third-party connection.)
The 'x' in the lug instead of a star-shape seems the main reason these frames are identified as an Viner. But I don't think it is.
Just my two cents...

thanks for your info, there is a difference of opinion on this one, if I get chance I will speak to the cycle trader who I bought this from, I was hoping to use it for myself but I was optimistic, it is too small for me, it would suit a rider around 5' 9" to 6',

Just to clear this discussion that's on numerous topics, read this article! There are two types of Viner frames from the same era. A 'Stella' and a 'Corsa'.

Many thanks for clarifying this point, I was confident that this was a Viner based on the expert knowledge of the person I purchased it from. To confirm this frame has now gone to a very happy purchaser.

Wow, just saw this post - I stand corrected. Leads me to conclude that Colnero imported these frames via Viner, not Colnago. Which clarifies the confusion: Colnero did have a part in this story, but Viner made the frames as part of the official line of products.
