2011-10-10 - Rider Down, Tottenham Lane

Rider down this morning on Tottenham lane. Large 16 wheeler construction vehicle.
Rider airlifted out of there about 30 mins ago. Doesn't look good. Road is closed etc...
Hope its not fatal.

damn :( ride that route everyday to work - only recently started going through the church yard cut through past police station to avoid the crap that is Tottenham Lane...too many fast drivers and HGV's along there..Thoughts go to rider hope they're ok!

Ross Lydall who is the Chief Correspondent at the Standrad just tweeted that the helicopter was scrambled at 8.20AM and the rider, who is 24, was taken to the Royal with serious leg injuries.

Fingers crossed they will be okay. Sounds horrific.
