Just overheard a colleague who witnessed an accident outside Kings X - he said a woman cyclist was being covered up with a blanket.

Sounded ominous.

Was a black fixie with white (toupe?) saddle - I work nearby and saw the aftermath. Flatbed dump truck parked just up the road on York Way looked to be involved.

I agree not to search on this one. Some of the tweets are indeed horrifying.

I'm not sure I know of anywhere less appropriate for long vehicles to be in London than that spot.

I walked out of Kings Cross station to witness the scene only minutes after the accident. I felt physically shocked and shaken. I still do. So tragic.

RIP to the lady. Sorry that her family are going through something which we are becoming all too familiar with in London. And sorry Kat that you had to be there at that time. Take it easy one and all.

Kat...you are likely in shock of some form. I'm so sorry you had to see that. It might be worth doing something with friends tonight to try to keep your mind off things.

Always the same type of vehicles and always know accident spots. This stretch of road is very very dangerous :(
