I was thinking sMash NC. But yeah Markaframa is deffs a keeper haha.
To be honest, I dont think 30 mins would be all that hard, dont rush it and film it over the space of a few months, ride super hard, super fast, bomb hills and race buses. Take time with the editing, get a few arty shots of the Tyne Bridge and were all go. Im gonna sort this out like, just need to hassle Chris to get off his arse with the 7D.

Will it solely be just riders from Newcastle or could the teesside riders come up? Might not be many!
I also have a 7D and quite a few lenses and would help out if needed?

seriously though, you need to devise some routes like countryside, hills around Newcastle not neccacerly in the centre, get some businesses involved for sponsorship.
Filming from original perspectives maybe 2 - 3 points of view (cameras on bikes, in cars and stills at the bottom (or top) of hills) or even strap a £300 go-pro to phil's spok :) -
It sounds like a good plan. I'm sure sponsorship wouldn't be too hard, just need a bit of persuading.
I'm guessing you guys know some good routes and some scenic routes too - a good mix of urban a rural really works.
I'm used to riding and filming, also taking pictures. I'll hang out of car windows or from the boot. Anything to get a good shot and none of this same old that gets pumped out.
I think with a lot of effort, this could work and work well.

yeah would be awesome to get a go pro from somewhere. and good non moving points for filming too, tops of buildings down to streets and stuff

Newcastle Scene Video

Spoke to a few people about getting a film sorted for the Newcastle Scene and people seem up for it. I was thinking about maybe a 30 min film in sections like a skate vid or Mash / Macaframa if you want. Or could just do a big montage featuring a ton of riders but it is fairly easy to get lost in those.
Anyway if people wanna have a bounce around with some ideas and make some suggestions post them on here.
Chris Boakes has a Canon 7D which would be ideal for filming and Jonathon Taylor has a car. Spoke to both of them last night and they're bang up for it.
