For Sale: Langster small

SPECIALIZED LANGSTER:

I previously had this listed as frame/ forks only. I've now built it up.

Specialized Langster 2008 frame. Badged as 'XS' but check dimensions as that is a bit misleading!
Top tube: 51.8cm
Seat tube: 49cm
Specialized say this suits 5' - 5'3. However my girlfriend is 5'4 and this is fine.

Alex s500 rims on Specialized hubs. Totally straight/ true with a NEW Gatorskin on the back, used on front. Minimal brake wear.

Sugino messenger chainset.

Bontager seatpost and stem.

NEW Deda Streetisimo bars.

NEW grips.

NEW Tektro crosstop lever, with NEW cable + outer.

No saddle or pedals but I'll throw in the saddle shown and some ghetto pedals if you need them to ride home, or some SPDs if that's your thing.

Cane creek headset.

Over-all the bike is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. Looks great, everything works perfectly, nothing is worn, paintwork is excellent.

It is currently fixed. I can throw in the rear caliper if you plan on switching to single-speed.

No worries, Don't need a langster in particular anyway as I have got 1 that is just a little too big for me But overall, I think langsters are good value bikes and this deserve a good home.

Yeah, I've never used it. Bought it, took it apart as it had loads of flouro bits on it and then the mrs said she didn't want two bikes so here it is. Like you say, needs a good home.

Yeah probably would. Check the measurements.

I am about 5'5 and my track bike is 52/52, it rides like a dream, so I guess this would fit pretty well, maybe a wee bit on the small side with the seat tube, but have your saddle higher should do the trick. However, my langster is a 56 and I can still manage, although I do look a little silly on it. Get it, Langsters are great!!

Yeah I think there is a lot of leeway on height with this frame. With a short stem 5'1" would be ok, up to about 5'5" as Extra says.

We it's better than the red Langster that everyone's selling off cheap at the moment. Chain Reaction were selling them for £199.00 which IS good value but it's a poor bike really IMHO
