i got the rear wheel of this set : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Track-Wheels-hub-black-built-onto-Mach-1-Omega-black-/320723140853?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&var=&hash=item76c06927d0
basic and cheap but mine works fine and is still true. im doing about 20 miles on bumpy roads a day at the moment and im 12 stone 7 and its holding up fine. if it makes any difference i don't skid.

I've been using some of the novatec hubs on dp18 rims from varno for over a year. No complaints. Still run true and smooth. I'm 17 stone currently and have ridden many miles on them. Through rain shine and snow. So should suit your purpose.
forgive me for I know not much about wheels.
i'm in the process of converting an old hack into a fg/ss to train on in the winter and am looking to buy some wheels.
i see loads on ebay etc for £60-90 per pair. what is the quality of wheels like this? i'll be using them for more than pottering around town so want something that will last. will they be durable if out riding 150-250 miles per week training?
if not, what would be a good but reasonably priced option?
