• Alas due to a knee problem my fixed days are behind me, so my pride and joy is up for sale - many of you will have seen this bike in the flesh and know that it is pretty unique. I haven't used it for quite a while, but just before i did my knee i switched up the cockpit to something more practical for longer commutes.

I have owned many tricker and more expensive rides, but for getting around London this has had them all licked. Paintwork has a couple of scratches, but overall its in great nick, with plenty of life left in the tyres.

Its an Alf Webb aluminium frame, 54 top tube, and 54 seat tube from the bb axle to seat post collar. These frames were designed to be a one size fits all - i am 6ft with a 32 inside leg. More about the frame here

    http://www.webbline.co.uk/default.asp?pID=16

I built it up to be the ultimate all weather/year ride for London, it has an unusual front end with a Bontrager Carbon CX fork and Avid mechanical disc brake - i have put a through bolt expansion bolt so the cable can be routed through the steerer for bar spinz and ting if thats your thing.

    Heres the full spec:

Alf Webb frame sprayed matte white by Armortex 54x54

Bontrager Satellite EliteCarbon forks with alloy steerer, disc mount.

Velocity Deep V Wheelset 32H - rear on a Gran Compe hub running 20t Euro Asia sprocket, front on a DMR Revolver, all black (cant remember what teh spokes are but wheels were built by Cavendish). Specialized 28' tires.

Sugino Messenger Crankset, 46T, arms sprayed matte white, shadow conspiracy chain.

Avid BB7 front disc brake with 160mm rotor, brake lever is the more expensive Avid one that has the adjustment knobs needed to dial in the brakes perfectly

Time Attack Z pedals - these are basically a freeride version of time attacks, so same simple double sided mechanism, but with a platform around them - love these pedals, especially round town as the platform means you can disengage the cleat but still have control in sketchy situations - save my bacon more than once!

Brand new system x 27.2 seat post

Brand new saddle, not sure what the make is but its comfy - if the buyer prefers thay can have a new Charge Bucket instead.

Onza Mongo 3 headset, white - this is one tough son of a bitch, usually found on trials bikes.

Race Face 100mm stem, cant remember what model but it weren't cheap, ritchey bars cut down to 50cm, stubby bar ends, and specialized ergo grips.

The bike will also be sold with white charge riser bars and Race face Diabolous down hill stem, so you can a similar set up as in the bottom pic

All in all a great bike, i am based in Battersea but can travel. Pm me if interested , or ask a question here.
