  • anyone got a decent graphics tablet they're looking to get shot of?

  • I've got an Intuos2 A3 tablet that is sat around doing nothing.

  • wacom ptk 440, my cousin still has it lying about, not sure if he still wants a price for it or whatever

  • After BDW has satisfied his drawing needs, I'm also in the market.
Who takes something back 5 years after giving to someone. Meh.

  • how much you after for it woolsy?

  • Oooh I've been wishing I had my own one too...

How big's your cousin's one lileth?

  • Ah a bit small.

    3rd dibs on Mike's A3!

  • Thank you Mister Skully. I would almost certainly take a 2nd dibs after the BDW.

  • i'll get in line, if someone's got something a5 or bigger for a decent price i'd be interested

  • just to let you all know, you can find good Intuos 3 s/h on t'bay, for about half the price of a new Intuos 4. Got mine for about £120 I think, nice widescreen a4, think I'll need a new pen though. Seems the tablet pens get worn nibs like fountain pens..

  • You can just buy the nips corny.

The new bamboo's look ok also. I think the medium isn't a bad size?

EDIT, actually the 'active area' is 217 x 137 mm

    hmm

  • I find the Intuos 4 has a much nicer feel than the intuos 3 - I use a medium Intuos 4 for graphics (mainly photoshop web layouts and illustrator) and prefer it to the L size on a 27" monitor, which is more like painting on a massive canvas (although good for retouching work) much more portable aswell...

  • Wicksie, was going to get the bamboo as a portable, for when I'm editing away from base...

    will look into new nibs...

  • Yeah might be a tad small.
There's a couple of i 3's on the bay which I might bid on. Should we use this to inform so we don't gazump each other?
Sorry to trash your thread BDW!

  • breaths in through teeth like car mechanic

There's one on the 'bay for £100 at the mo with 22 hours left. Mine isn't boxed though, and has no 4d mouse (just the tablet and a pen). Is £70 fair? Willing to negotiate.

  • 4d mouse>>>>>>>>

    I'm still innersted^ 3rd in Q obv.

  • i think I'll bite the bullet and get an intuos 4 - cheers tho wools

  • I've got A6 (bought for me years ago at work) and A5 (nicked from work) Wacom tablets, don't use either very often... Strange things...

  • jo jo, you looking to get rid of the A5, Intuos3??? may take it off your hands, if the aforementioned others don't bite first..

  • Well rather than start a separate thread.....

    Wacom Intuos 2 A3 £70 ONO

    Hit me.

  • i've got an A6 (140 x 115mm active area) Intuos 3 sitting in my work drawer that could find a new home for say.. £25?
    Pen and penholder included!

  • I've got a graphire A6 for sale. I am open to offers. It has mouse and pen.

It all works fine, hardly used. it's just that graphics tablets drive me nuts. Just can't get on with them.

  • I need hot keys, so I'm also out on the intuos 2. Skully over to you.

Still looking for a large intuos 3 or there abouts.

  • Wicksie, the shortcuts in the menu strip along the top of the tablet are programmable. Is that what you mean?
