Having just picked up a new 59cm track frame and swapped all my components over I'm looking to move my 722 on.

Its still in great condition having been ridden daily for a year .It comes with a 103mm bottom bracket, sealed diatech headset, campag seat post pin and last but not least full carbon matt black EASTON EC90 SL Road Fork worth £259 new.

can someone tell me what the fuck that string rapped around the top tube does! i've seen something similar on loads of bikes and i have no f***ing idea what it does.... this is evidently a subject which angers me greatly

its just a handy place to keep any spare string you have :)

I think its so that when the bars spin around (for example when you are carrying it) the top tube is not damaged by the bars if they hit it.

I've been riding a 722TS for the couple of years and it's been awesome - stiff but still reasonably comfortable on London's crappy roads. I bought mine before the raw finish came out, otherwise I would have definitely gone for it. Someone buy this!
