Birmingham sight seeing!

I have to drop someone off in Birmingham for the day this weekend, then collect them in the evening!

Anyone have any recommendations of what to do or see?

Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses? Always wanted to check it out myself but haven't managed to. They charge admission

Ikon Gallery usually has some good shows on - Combine it with a wander round the canals

Bournville's an interesting place to visit

Stay away from the bullring

Visit winterbourne gardens for free by pretending you are a student. Poor mans botanical gardens!

The gardens and bournville look like good options..

I may struggle getting away with the student blag (perhaps more your mature student!)

Will you have a bike with you Moonboy? Maybe do a spot of bike tag?
Bourneville's nice but these's nothing much to do unless you want to ponder some historic buildings or go to the Cadbury Factory
