Reading Bike Polo

So im moving to Reading in October and although ill be playing polo in London most weeks, I want to start up some bike polo in Reading. I got in touch with Adrian Lawson of the Reading Cycling Campaign who expressed interest and said he might have some others who are into this so hopefully we can get some numbers straightaway.

Does anyone here live in Reading and want to play polo?
Anyone know any suitable courts in the area? (suitable is a normal 5 a side tarmac/concrete football court, preferably with lights and without regular footballers)

If any existing polo players could donate old mallets that would be awesome

My ex flatmates both used to work there, its a godforsaken roundabout of a city, at least its only a year.

I could maybe play midweek if you get 5. There is a bit of a rough vibe in Reading but it's not all that bad.

Im still about (until summer) and could play abit but i dont really have the time to do much organizing and so what little polo I play at the moment is usually in London. There are some people on my course who are interested including one guy who is a fairly serious horse polo player but they dont have bikes or mallets....

I am a bit interested, can't ride much, back injury and all that, but live in Reading, know some possible polo places, and have a bike that might do. Where and when are you meeting up?
