Do you live near Honor Oak Park? i'm sure i've seen this a few times going up and down the hill
-

Is that a rear brake bridge?
Are the forks oval or round?
Is this a track frame?
-
• #5
is the chain ring 1/8 or 3/32?
If you do end up splitting, I would like the wheelset, chain ring (if 1/18), and lock ring.ed

Seems like a road frame with track ends welded on it to me...
-
• #7
Yawn. They're track/single speed frames. Good quality stuff. Stop trolling.

Yes I do live near Honor Oak Park - well spotted!
The forks are indeed oval. There is a mount for a rear brake if you wanted to run it SS with a freewheel. And it is a track frame, but with slightly non-standard geometry which is more suited to riding in the city. It's a really great ride. There is some more info about it here - http://www.brothercycles.com/store

Cheers, no need to measure it though. I was only asking out of curiosity as I can't afford to buy, lovely though it is.

I can sense the vultures circling, will you eventually split it if no-one buys it outright?
-
• #19
I can feel them lining the periphery too! Yes, I will split it if no one takes it by the end of the week. I'll start a new thread if I split it, with prices for individual parts, so no need to start dibsing for the time being. Thanks

wheel and chainring lust!
-
• #25
No, nobody took it in one piece so I will split it. Will post a new thread later this evening
I am going to India at the end of the summer and so must reluctantly sell my dear track bike to fund my trip.
The frame's geometry is fantastic and the bike is a sheer joy to ride. It's light, stiff, nippy and comfortable. If I could afford to, I'd keep it for the rest of my life!
It's in fantastic condition, has been well maintained and stored indoors. The top tube is very neatly taped to avoid scratching when locking it to objects. The frame does not have any dents, the teeth on the chain ring and cog are virtually unworn, the wheels are straight, all bearings run smooth, etc. The only remarkable signs of wear are the few superficial scratches on the right seatstay and the scuffed pedals. The tyres and 1/8 KMC chain are new.
I can also include a front brake – a Dia Compe BRS-101 brake and Dia Compe Gran Compe Shot twin-blade track lever, both black, with cable and Kool Stop brake pads - for an extra £30
I'm pretty disinclined to split this bike so for the time being please do not dibs particular parts.
The bike is in Brockley
