i'll give you some dollars to deliver flyers around villages/towns around cambridge? its not much i know but you'd get paid to cycle!

if you did my flyers, you could visit all the local pubs/restaurants at the same time to see if they need pot washers? shit work, but it pays pretty good for casual labour. (plus you've an excuse to go in to hand them flyers! :) )

Not yet, but it's something I've been meaning to do for a while. I was thinking, if you're really keen and fit, could you take in as far east as Royston, north west as Burwell, and as south as Duxford, picking up villages as you go round, in one or two days flyering? I'd imagine it'd be a really nice ride especially if the sun is out, as you'd be avoiding all major roads. (just don't dump all the flyers and go to the pub :) )

I don't know if you've written your CV, obviously you could hand that into every single bike shop in this city. There are quite a few.
When I left school I was a gardener's assistant for a couple of years, that was awesome work. Then I worked for Littlewoods Index (the poorer version of Argos, now bankrupt) for a year or so, that was completely shit. Then I worked as a cleaner at the Comet distribution centre in Harlow, strangely not that bad.
Then I worked as a Postman for two / three years, actually not a bad a job save for the early starts. I was probably in the best shape then than I ever have been since. If you could get a job as a mail sorter or Saturday boy at the Post Office delivering mail, that would actually be great. I really enjoyed it most of the time, the bike you get is basically indestructible.
You guys are all probably sick of working but i am quite the opposite. i cant wait. does anyone know of anyone who needs someone part time? (or full time actually, until September) any help would be appreciated. i dont mind what i do as long as i am earning money!
let me know !
thanks
