Frustratingly this hasn't gone to court. There is a court case RE the man killed on Ormeau Road in 2011

A polish woman got killed by a lorry, there were witnesses. However, it never went to court, so we therefore don't know exactly what happened. The lorry in any case didn't see her, but the cause was never assessed.

The gentleman on Ormeau road got pushed into a pedestrian fence near a pedestrian light by a left turning lorry. The court upheld the trial and it was due to start sometime near Easter. So...2 years later and we still don't know who was at fault.

Also one hit and run in 2011 and one team cyclist killed again a court case, guy just drove into him from a side street. No outcome yet.

This was 2011 no fatalities in 2013 so far. Bear in mind NI is small, however we have the same issues with lorries (the Death of Cyclists as I call them) as everywhere in the UK.
