  • Bought this a few weeks back with the intention of racing it. Only managed to use it twice since buying it, cycling home after buying it and taking it out today as my other MTB is out of action. The other MTB is in need of a few upgrades so this one sadly has to go to get a bit of money together. Details on this thread:

Pick-up/viewing either in Stratford or at LMNH.

  • Oh noes! But I guess it's good news if it ends up getting used and enjoyed by someone somewhere.

If a buyer wants the pink nylon toestraps that came with it, I think I still have them!

  • Hi, cant really tell from the photo but how wide are the handlebars (roughly).
Also did you take the bar ends (mentioned in original post) for it?

Indeed, poor thing is just sat there looking lovely and not getting any use. Also don't forget you gave me the pink toestraps! They're still on it

No tape measure to hand but I reckon about 55cm, maybe a bit more. I'll get a proper measurement later for you. Unfortunately I didn't take the bar ends, not really a fan of them and they do tend to hook into branches and whatnot when cycling through trees.

  • As I said on the original post I'd buy this if it was just a shade larger. Surely somebody is in the market for a decent cheap bike?

  • Oops, thanks for pointing that out!

Anyway, I can let the buyer have the bar-ends for free!

  • OK no problem, I'm thinking of bringing it back to Forest Hill.
I think the colours suit the hills around here...

  • Any interest before it goes on offer at Retrobike?

  • Back up for sale folks!

  • Best bike ever!

  • Mick, I'd like to bring this back to SE23. Can i provisionally dibs it pending a robust debate with Mrs Ludd? Money is as bad as it ever was, but there's room in the shed now that two Luddlets have left home...

  • Certainly, i've actually just moved out of SE23 so i'm sure it'll feel right at home.

I've just convinced the missus to have another 29er hanging up in the living room so I hope you're as lucky as I was!

  • Still available folks! Price drop to £160!
