I had a similar issue when I had a pair of CXP14 when I had them reanodised black. The feckin things dissolved. I managed to find 32 and 36 hole rims and got them all out and have used 64 of them.
I'm getting my rebuilt wheels back tomorrow and I should have 5 or 6 left over which you are welcome to have. I'll let you know tomorrow
Cheers

1 tip to stop these from corroding up is to once a year spray the eyelets internally with oil & then clean the external surface before using to remove excess oil. I have had a pair for nearly 15 years. Put about 15,000 miles on them.

Arent they just washers/eyelets with extended section to stop the nipples from going stray when wheelbuilding? Seems like using sapim nipple washers would work, they have different shapes

Hey,
I have 2 sets of Mavic cxp 30 rims 700c 32h. Wanting to sell urgently. One pair tubular and good conditions, eyelgets are loose inside rims.
The other pair clincher both rims were involved in accident but can be salvaged for eyelets. Will post pics soon...
Hi
I need some Mavic CXP30 (or CXP14) rim eyelets to retain the spoke nipples. Alternatively a pair if scrap / cheap cxp rims that I could salvage the eyelets from.
Cheers!
