Is good that you are OK. As Prancer says, make sure that the bike is checked out and you get it put back to the original condition. were any clothes / shoes / anything else damaged? I remember getting knocked off my bike and thought that nothing was damaged - bike and clothing were fine. When I got to work I got my keys out of my shorts pocket only to find that my car key, which was on the same keyring as home / office keys, was destroyed. This cost me 140 quid to replace.... Ask for payment for everything, but don't go overboard as he may then go through insurance who may want receipts.

I was worried about the seat:stay/tube junction but the cycle shop think it's ok. I'll have a good look tomorrow.

Lucky you're ok MG! Make sure you don't have whiplash though. Not sure how hard he hit you but it can often take a while to come out.
Lucky he was good about it.
Cheers! -

Yes, as Joni says, go see a doctor, Festus, just to be careful. Glad it doesn't seem too bad.

Good you're ok.
And remember about that Faberge egg you had in your pocket. All squashed now. Have it checked too.

Glad you're ok!
+1 to the faberge egg.
Riding in the cycle lane on Bishopsgate this arvo passing a car that's indicating left. It keeps moving and I'm wondering why, if, the driver has seen me he's still moving over the the left. He and his black Ferrari convertible are now behind me and I've slight slowed down....And whack! He shunts me and the bike is on the floor while I manage to stay on my feet.
I pause for a while surprisingly not apoplectic and explain to him I'm not Mike C*. He's pretty shaken up and very sorry.
"I've just got a flat and didn't want to be stuck in the inside lane. For some reason the brakes seem to stop working"
He pulls over into a side street and we chat whilst walking to the bike shop to make all is ok with the frame. The back wheel is proper fucked. We settle argeed to settle away from the insurance company. Cue Her majesty's boat race in red. Plus he'll cover any extras if there is anything else.
I wished they all ended like this. I'm trying not to spill the champagne onto my latop as I post.
