Wanted: flip flop wheel set/chain/crank

Hi all,

I have a peugeot carbo team bike 62cm. I want to make into fixie.

I need a flip flop wheel set. 700c (18t)
Chain that fits
Crank/pedal set up.(48t) its got a square bb.

The rear wheel space measures 130mm
front wheel 100mm
so not sure exactly what i need.

If anyone has all three parts cool or know where i can get the correct ones from. I.e ebay can you tell me.

Im looking to spend as little on these parts as poss.

i dont mind used old bit tatty as long as they arnt broken and work just fine.

Chain wise, go for that, I've been running them for thousands of miles, great value at £3.49 with free postage. Buy a couple so you have a spares when you cut it too short ;-)

i have a great condition charge deep dish wheelset, white, can put a spacer on to make 130mm no problem, pm me if interested.....

I have a rear wheel for sale that would do you for £40, complete with 18T freewheel.
I have some cheap 175 cranks to go with, only £15 but 45T. (works well with 18, not too spinny.)

Really need flip flop set. Ones that can fit rear 130mm and front 100mm

I quite fancy a aerospoke/trispoke type of front wheel and a fliop flop rear can be any one on the rear.

You know you can use a freewheel on a double-fixed hub? it doesn't need to be a flippity-floppity.

What i would like is to be able to ride fixed and if im tired/board i can flip the wheel round so i can freewheel. Thats why i would rather get a flip flop.

you can do that with a fixed/fixed hub,put a freehweel on one side and fixed cog on the other, understand?

so you can use either a flip-flap hub or a fixed/fixed one, therefore widening your search parameters.

Yeah, but what he means is you don't need a flip flop hub. You can attach a freewhell to fixed threading. So you can get a double fixed hub as well.

Sweet i love you guys. no ones mentioned that i can do it that way.

know where i can get a cheap trispoke/4/5spoke fixed wheel or 3/4/5spoke front wheel. which ever i can get first or cheaper then ill just get a normal wheel for front or back.

Ive put up for sale two wheels http://www.lfgss.com/thread69497.html might not sell them if it works.

Rear one has 6 cog casette on it can i just take them off and do what you said?

How much do tri/4/5 wheels cost? arnt they the same as normal ones?

how does £30 posted sound?

chainrings are 42 and 52 teeth, and the length is 170mm.
