  • Red and green would do it for me, Mm mm blended frog...

  • Here you go.

  • oh leave him be you ghouls

    ;D

  • Bright red and racing green? A christmas bike?

  • Hi guys, I'm currently working on my bike and would like a hand with a few colour schemes, and was wondering if anyone here would mind doing a few mockups of what my bike might look like if I went ahead with it.

I've already got the red wheels and chain, and plan on matching that with a red crankset. I'm also planning on buying the tan leather saddle from velosolo (fake Brookes) and some tan leather handlebar tape. I was then thinking the frame would either be painted british racing green or a bright blue, so I'm torn between the two.

Below is a picture of my bike, I'd appreciate it if anyone could quickly put one together for me or even just give an opinion on what they think would look better

    Cheers

In answer to your first question, yes a lot of people are good at photoshop, and no, none of them want to work on your picture for you.

In answer to your second, would anybody like to proffer an opinion as to what will look better, I suspect they will start with "get rid of all that red shit (especially the tyres and chain)" and follow on with "just ride this and enjoy it, until such time as you can afford a decent frame in the colour of your choice rather than spend a fortune tarting up this one"

I suspect they may also advise you that that lock can be opened with a pair of nail clippers, and you need a decent Kryptonite u-lock.

  • Your bike is already the best colour ever invented by man (ice metallic blue), so leave it.

  • New saddle, higher saddle, lower stem, add bar tape, lube chain, lube ass, ride.

  • Here you go.

    needs poo

  • Keep the met blue paint it's nice, tyres should be black, the red's hurting my face off. Ditch the chain and shite lock. Alternatively...

  • ^, +1 for green lock

  • I'm pretty excellent at photoshop.
this is what your bike will probably look at.
My fees are £300 per hour and it took me 3.
I'll take paypal or bank transfer.

  • There are no spokes on those wheels

  • airospokes

    it's the latest thing.

    do try to keep up.

  • Spokes are an extra £2 (per spoke). Those look like 48H trick hubs to me...

  • Don't really need a kryptonite for up north... bikes can be pretty much left leaning against walls and you're alright. (though I do have a kryptonite lock)

x2 for black tyres, sensible chain, bar tape, foot retention etc etc.

  • Don't really need a kryptonite for up north... bikes can be pretty much left leaning against walls and you're alright.

    absolute bullshit.

  • yeh fuck off would i leave my bike propped against a wall up here.

  • hahaha this is the best laugh ive had on a forum. dont think ill bother now.

  • There are no spokes on those wheels
