wanker, but didn't connect a punch, more attempted assault / affray rather than GBH/ABH - still, the first compelling argument I've seen for wearing a helmet. We also don't know what happened before the camera started rolling, the cyclist could have deliberately scratched his car or called his mum a whore.

He might have shouted "Punch me, but sort of miss my face. twice"

@ Mobidog. Early bit of trolling there.

I wonder if he has considered cycle training?

@ Clive Fuck me that joke is getting even less funny than 'nerging'.

Read the link in there; the police traced the car and the owner.
-
• #9
I did read it, I just wanted to be able to recognise the car if I saw it around- SE London was the area of the encounter after all

Just saying, if a cyclist tried to get through a gap that was too narrow cuz he was commuter racing, scratched my motor and called my mum a whore when I politely mention to him that I prefer my paintwork intact, I'd have mashed his face like a potato. Problem?

is the assailant Paddy McGuinness?
-
• #12
the still at the top he looks like paddy mcguinness. you silly boy
-
• #13
Corruption at the highest levels. The assailant must be a** Met police officer**. What has happened to British society?
WTF?!
The assailant was clearly a football "fan" (or similar) who wanted to take out the frustration of knowing he was born a cnut and will die a cnut, on a healthy active cyclist most likely minding his own business.
Potentially

you beat me to it^^^ :)

Paddy would have landed the punch and then kicked him in the ribs while he was sitting on the pavement while shouting "I'll show you the way to fucking Amarillo you southern lycra softie''
-
• #16
We also don't know what happened before the camera started rolling
I know you weren't really saying anything nor care, but the car driver hit the cyclist with his wing mirror, and thought it was intentional on the part of the cyclist.
Apparantly

That was pathetic. Glad the cyclist is OK if shaken up. Thank fuck the knob in the car doesn't know how to handle himself.

If we were a good forum we should organize a black squad for people like that...
there are so plenty of them around, in their cars...
one of us in front, once they start to be cunts the rest of us shows up for a real a proper unforgettable lesson...
-

Although the registered keeper of the car was easily traceable it seems that on the day in question the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition, only for it to be taken without consent but somehow later returned to the owner by person or persons unknown.
Er...what?!
