Wouldn't Pitlocks be easier if you're going to buy something just to secure your front wheel.I'm not sure why you need 2 bits, as that lock is easily long enough to get through the rear wheel anyway.

it looks like it just drops onto an existing u lock though? make it easyier for carrying and a lot of people seem to use a cable for that so wouldn't it be better than that?

That lock loop seems to be solving a problem that doesn't exist when thesealready exist:
