I'm in the dark (MEGALOL) about this light. Is it possible to affix it to the bike sans the red strap you describe?
Thanks/you're welcome (for the joke).

Yep, you only need 2 cable ties, i have the plastic handlebar mount but not the strap, however its designed to be cable tied also, (two small holes drilled in the mount). I appreciate puns more than most but i didnt see that one coming.

Perhaps you shouldn't sell the light then.

upon reflection it doesnt actually come with a red strap anyway, it is always meant to be cable tied or quick release'd

So it doesn't come with the bracket as in:

explain how this works without a switch? you unscrew the back to turn it off and screw it back on to turn it on?
is that right? -

you need to screw it back on, remove the forks and both tyres, change the bulb being careful not to break the glass and fix it back on with gaffa tape before holding you finger to apply pressure about one third the way down the light*. then jobs a good un
*should you want the light to stay on

Because the button is bust does this mean you can't phase it through the different functions? I need a light for the DD, so dibs!

Second dibs if cheese doesn't nab it...

It stays on flare, it doesnt flash.

I'll take it.

Cheers for the light dude, tested it last night, well bright!
slightly damaged, in that the button has not ever worked, not a massive issue as you can simply unscrew the back and it turns off. im only looking for £15, considering how powerful this light is it seems like a reasonable price, PM for any details. Cheers
