yeah it's all sorted I think, cheers anyway though.
Hello, offering up this Fixed Gear Bicycle. It's a 531 frame, but stupidly I took the stickers off to make it less nickable! You can see the marks where they were on the forks though, and the Bob Jackson Refurbishment sticker (photographed) is still there, on the back of the seat tube. The frame has fairly tight clearances for a steel road frame, and steep geometry (almost track-like). Its lively and really quite light for a steel frame. Has a 105 headset, which is fairly smooth.
The wheels are both built by Woodrup Cycles, The rims are Mavic 'Ma' (early open pro), 36 spokes. The bike has a shimano deore xt disc hub on the back (converted to fixed bolt-on cog) with a velosolo 19t cog. I will supply the bike with a 17t cog for the gear crunchers amongst you! Front wheel is mavic Ma laced to a campagnolo hub.
Cranks are shimano 170mm 105 octalink, with octalink bb, which is smooth. 52t suntour chainring, izumi track chain.
Bars are Cinelli Giro D'italia 38s, stem is a cinelli 90mm. The bolt in the stem to tighten the bars is a bit knackered where the allen key inserts, but using an allen key one size smaller than intended works completely fine, as it goes in to where the allen hole tapers off. I'm sure you could get another bolt if this is a worry, but the bars are installed perfectly tight and fine as they are. New bar tape.
Front brake only, which is a rather old dura-ace. It'd probably be worth a few bob if it was NOS, but it's not, so it's probably not! Dia compe cross top lever, new cable.
specialized tyre (700X23) on the back, Hutchinson Kevlar on front (700X22c).
As you can see, the bikes a bit tired looking, paint is scratched in places, but no dents anywhere. It'd make a really good commuter bike, which won't attract the eyes of thieves, but secretly its quite nice! It's light, as a full build, and goes like the clappers if you feel like it.
I'd like £150 for it Please!
I live in Putney, But can meet people elsewhere in london. No postage!
