I am interested in the frame for a mate of mine. This frame, is it a 531c by any chance? If you are willing to go lower price on the frame, or the set excluding wheels we might have a deal.

I'd be interested in the conti giro tub if you'd post it? Say £10 posted?

Sorry, only the wheels and saddle left.
Firyjack: the tubs are on the wheels so I want to sell them together.
Here I have a small road bike frame, forks, cranks and a load of extras, which I acquired from a friend a while back and ran it for a little while but decided it's too small for me. Not sure about exact details of the bike other than it's light, small and fast! We think it was built by a local frame builder in Leicester for tt racing. It still has the original gearing on it, which is 44/48t front and had 15-19t on the back, hence the thought of it being a tt bike. Also, the frame doesn't have any "welding air holes" (the only holes in the frame are for headset, bb and brake!), which makes me think it was made by a decent frame builder.
All items in Potters Bar, Herts, but I'm happy to get the train in to Finsbury Park/King's Cross to meet buyer.
- Frame and forks are 531, going by the stickers on the forks and the fact that it's very light and has nice lugs. (All measurements c-t-c) 53cm tt, 48cm st, 10cm ht. Could easily be run as a low pro or as a standard road bike if you're shorter than 5'9" or so. The frame has vertical Campagnolo dropouts but they have enough angle on them that you can still run the frame singlespeed/fixed with a half link in the chain (see image for proof!). It also comes with a massive seatpost, which went high enough for me to ride it and I'm just a shade under 6 feet tall!
- Cranks: TA specialites. 44/48t cogs, don't look very worn and run perfectly.
- Brake levers: they say Cherry on the levers and Weinmann on the hoods, but not sure whether the hoods are aftermarket or not.
**-Brake calipers: **Weinmann Type 500.
- Bars don't have anything on them but look pretty similar classic Cinellis
- Stem: 10cm SR.
BB and headset I think are original as well and could do with regreasing, but they both run.
For all of the above I'm asking just £120 ono.
I've also got a few other parts knocking about...
- saddle: white turbo in pretty good condition. No rips, just a bit of scuffing ( the one shown on the complete bike pics)-- £30
- wheels: Tubular Mavic rims on Campagnolo hubs (qr) - 5 speed freewheel 15-19t ( I think. I can't be arsed to count them again!) The rear tyre is brand new and not properly fitted. I have an unopened tube of "Continental Special Rim Cement" glue for them. The front may need regluing, but I don't know as I don't have any experience with tubs so I thought I'd be best to leave well alone! -- £50
