Getting a used leather saddle that would otherwise be binned is probably better for the environment than replacing it with a new one with all the strain that puts on the environment.
I understand if you don't want a cow to die for your ass comfort, but it kind of all equals out if somewhere else a cow chokes on the exhaust fumes of the plastic factory that makes your new saddle. -

Yeah, I agree, if I saw a leather saddle in a bin I'd use it rather than letting
it go to waste. Need to keep my eyes peeled! Ha ha -

A lot of modern racing saddles now use lorica instead of leather as its more durable, so youd be surpised at how many options are out their for us "dirty" veggies and vegans

Charge Bucket?

Cheers the charge bucket looks alright, I might go down to my bike shop and see if they have that or the spoon in stock. Thanks for the advice clockwork kills (if that is your real name....) it's such a pain finding everything else non leather, like belts and shoes and stuff, I thought it'd be the same for this.

Selle italia turbo re-issues are made from a vegan friendly synthectic 'leather' substance.
Around 35 squids all in from the USA:

That looks really nice! Fair bit more expensive than the charge spoon though.
Can anyone reccomend a decent saddle that's not too expensive and isn't made of leather? I try to steer clear of leather because I'm a dirty veggie.
