  • A client of mine regularly has large timber crates with flat sides that they need to dispose of - they would make an excellent resource for building polo court walls and, most importantly, it's all free if we pick it up (Knutsford).

Just sowing the seeds and opening up our court search to flat areas....

  • sounds cool, might be worth seeing if powerhaus mind us adjusting the bottom of their fence, can't see them being too bothered if its not mega permanent

with powerhouse it just needs 2 inch high planks around the bottom of the court like Newington has, we cant be putting crates round the inside of powerhouse

I say we build a skate park!

  • I figured we'd cut them 1st

  • YEh but I mean we don't need crates for ph

  • no, but it'd be nice to be able to use the wall a bit more predictably and if they're free then that's better than buying planks, failing that I say we build a roof with them

  • a tree house?

  • I was thinking more of when/if we hold a tourney that requires two courts - all we need is some flat areas. Can we start to think of where those areas might be?
