    For real steel lovers only!

Top quality CONCORDE Squadra roadbike with good working 2x8 speed Shimano 600 STI Tricolore group.

Rare pro bike of mid 90ties made in Italy by CIOCC. Exactly the same frame as used by the 90ties PDM PRO TEAM. Paint is really perfect and like unused with no marks at all! Chrome has some spickels but nothing serious. It has all marks of the Concorde top range Squadra and earlier Aquila frames like panto fork crown, lugs and bb. Built of Columbus TSX or SLX tubing as the original folders told me. BB is the high quality Cinelli "spoiler" version.

    Seat tube: 59 cm (c-t)
    Top tube: 57 cm (c-c)

Realy in a lovely condition with faboulous red/black paint schedule and a lot of chrome.

It deserves a nice Campagnolo group but this 600 group is working very well as we all know.

    Parts:
Shimano 600 STI 2x8 speed group with 52/39 chainwheels. The group is completely with 600 hubs, headset, bb and seatpost.

    Rolls saddle.

3TTT handle bar and a lovely 3TTT stem.

Wheelset: 600 hubs with Mavic Open 4CD rims and Continental Grand Prix clincher tyres.

    Pedals: SPD

    Wireless computer included

Bought this from first owner for my own collection but open for sale now if somebody is interested.

Please dibs and pm. Feel free to ask me for more details if you like. More pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnelst/sets/72157626797105279/

Extra donation to the forum after sale ofcourse!

  • I have one of these in TLX and really adore it. Worth the money for a top notch steel bike of that era.

  • Right it rides like a Ferrari. Straight and stiff but sharp in the curves.........

  • very nice.

  • Nice, that looks in splendid condition!

I've recently built up almost the exact type of frame with mainly some last generation classic Super Record parts, Mavic pro-hubs and some NOS-parts (stem, saddle, handlebar)

Mine has slightly different lugs and pantho placement though - so it could be a year older (circa '92) than the one being posted.

It rides fantastic, I might add. Pure quality frames.

  • That Squadra is a beauty! And a very good price indeed. Just look at those headlugs, quality.

    It should be sold already.....

  • that is a bloody lovely bike. and i have bought off SimplexNL before, very efficient seller!

  • You guys making me shy a bit........ i'm not sure i will sell after these comments and specialy to see how it looks with Campa equipment oooof

  • HUM3; is there a frame decall on yours?

  • Well, the seattube-decals were a bit missing so there wasn't a Columbus-decal on the tube when I first got it, just on the forks. I came to the conclusion it's a TSX-frame and tracked down some original decals for good measure.

I found some similiar Squadra-frames from around '92 that are TSX. Also, in the '93-brochure the second-highest rated 'Aquila'-model uses TSX-tubing. The Squadra's were top-tier, which leads me to think your Concorde is also made from TSX. (Though te be sure, one should remove the BB and have a look inside.)

It would all fit nicely in the timeframe; seeing as it was kind of a 'SLX-plus', TSX was only used for a few years in the early nineties, as far as I know.

Anyway, SLX or TSX - both quality and the paint on your frame looks in better shape than mine.

ps: Some more pics, in case you're doubting your decision ; )

  • Mine is definitely TSX. I have felt the ribbed tube (oo-er) inside from the BB shell when I had it stripped.

  • All copy the information i had found. Think '93 and made of TSX tubing. Strange they don't use frame tubing decals in that period. Lovely bikes you guys have both. Thanks a lot for help and showing them too.

  • exceptionally beautiful bike

  • Still not sold...??

  • Sorry for the delay but not sold already indeed. Not a budget bike but real steel!
