Simple. A turn-up-and-go challenging slightly-scary free-entry overnight on-tarmac just under 120 mile bicycle ride to the lovely lonely Suffolk sea at Dunwich.

It will be my first and i have just booked my train tickets. Anyone else Norwich based up for this?

Do I have to book a bike up seperatly?

Nah the London train's fine, plenty of space. How are y'all planning on getting back from Dunwich? That last ~40 miles Dunwich-Norwich was killer last year.

I recon bike to beccles or something, then train it back. If not i may see if Gems Dad is up for picking us up in the van. Im sure if we all chipped in, then he would be all good.

Beccles sounds like a good idea and if it comes down to it we can always cycle from there?

A Friday night ride to Sheringham & back is on the cards. I'm busy rest of the weekend.

Sounds good to me - leaves plenty of time to get to London Fields and chill out with a tin or two in the (hopefully) sun with all the other happy nutters.

Now I'm just ordering a few 105 bits for my bike.

105 bits as in gears? Whatever next.

I know. Pffffffft. I am sure spencer just pretends to own a fixie! Hehehhhe. Oh and yeah im on the 15:00 train! Safe blood.

Will be picking up a different saddle & some drops w/ nice comfy bar tape, and possibly a Carradice saddlebag or similar - the bag strap over my shoulder really caned by the end last year.

Any recommendations for non-anatomical drop bars to fit a 26.0mm stem? Nitto Noodle?

That and the fact I don't want any weight on my back, apart from maybe a few flap jacks in my pocket :) :)
