Near bike theft in Camden

While I was in the Edinboro Castle in Camden a few nights ago it seems someone tried to steal my bike. It was raining like hell, must have been pretty frustrating for them. At the end of the night I went to unlock and saw my mini-D had its outer layer cut open a few times in increasing amounts, no damage to the inner metal part. I think they tried prying it apart as well since there are some nicks in the nearby paint now. I suppose other than venting, maybe this can serve as a warning to anyone who locks up in that area just west of the tube station.

Thieves have to be pretty fucking retarded to just cut through the plastic skin of a decent D-lock. I mean what is their thought process..?
