...also after some band-on cable stops, or perhaps more realistically band-on shifters that I can remove the levers from and screw cable stops onto.

Ok, picked up some band-on shifters at LMNH today so now I need screw-on cablestops. Also halfway to sorting my front-mech-on-a-TT-frame issue - has anyone got a curved band-on cable guide to route the cable over the BB shell? Saves me covering the nice BB shell cutouts and will also match the brazed rear mech routing.

Thanks to loafhead for the stem and tom robbins books!

Still need a seatpost and cable routing solutions. Anyone able to help?

There were never any left side only cable guides made due to older bikes originally running a single ring. So when double chainsets became popular they produced the double variant. Thus you'll get right side only (for rear derailleur) or doubles. There's plenty of cable guides on ebay atm
