Ok,
I love this frame but as Max says, I already have a polo bike. I am happy for Roba..?..ob to have it as long at it is used for polo (..and i dont mean like playing once a month!)
This frame is full of the magic of Dave and should make you awesome at polo. Also, pleaseeee dont paint it :)

I'll definitely be using it for polo, and i love the sport so will definitely be playing for a long time. i'll be at cambridge this weekend so you can come quiz me then and see if you wanna give me the frame.
-
• #18
I'm still up for taking the mallet head. let me know. I'll get ma boys to pick it up from Cambs.
-
• #19
Joe - I'll make sure the mallet head gets back to Brighton for you if that's cool.
If Robbie (Robbadobdob) could have the Carlton it would be ace. We've been having a nightmare trying to make the current frame (vertical dropouts, weird braze ons for U-brakes, solid lump of 80's MTB steel) work as a polo bike and I'm sure it will end up being passed on to Alfie which guarantees two generations of polo!

Ah awesome cheers Tim, and of course I'm more than happy for the bike to become a Family Warin fixture, so consider my dibs passed up.
Have fun at the weekend and in the pyrenees, I'm really not at all jealous....FU exams!

Updated. Sorry i aint been around but lifes been busy. Robbie gets the Carlton (pmed you just now)
As London knows i just had an operation and because of that i'm not heading up to Cambridge. If people want to come to london one weekend for throw-ins i'll happily bring the stuff to them if not maybe they could ask someone to bring the bits to cambridge.
Also just put a rear wheel up.
-
• #22
Dibs the wheel please! Need to replace my bolt on rear so I can go freewheel
Is it machined?
-
• #23
yeah. its yours dude.
-
• #24
If anyone could sort out transporting the Carlton from London to Cambridge, please pm me.

same for eightinch mallet head.
That Carlton touring frame (approx 53ish), track drop outs put on by Super Ted back in the day. Comfortably fits 35/38c tyre. Frame, seat post, BB and (drive side crank if you want it). seat post's held in with a shim, might be stiff, it hasn't been taken out for a good whil so might be a little stiff. GONE to Robba...
Eighth Inch head
People have mixed feelings about these, I'm not a fan but if you want to try one... Gone to Tenderloin
And I got a green polo shirt medium, don't have a pic right now but will get one later, never worn label still on it. Gone
