Absolutely. I did 50kg in a crumpler bag a few years back. The bag and I survived the 5 mile trip. 24kg is naff all.

i cycled back from heathrow with a bowling ball once. tru story

rode 10 miles to a bbq with 30 kg of meat in a rucksack once. I was welcolmed like a hero, and ate like a king.

I rode from Lands End to John O'Groats with the whole of Heathrow Airport strapped to my handlebars.

Piece of piss.
