I've got a Gibson J-30 steel-stringed acoustic guitar I want to sell, going to eBay it but thought I'd put it here first.
I'll do pictures when I get back home at the weekend, if there is real interest.
It is a 1994 J-30 Montana sunburst finish, dating from the period when Gibson had recently moved production from Nashville to more suitable Bozeman and was still rebuilding its reputation for top quality guitars. Sound is basically a Hummingbird, but without the excessive ornamentation. This one has been lightly played-in but no visible fret wear, no buzzes, no rattles, beautiful full chiming sound. Set up by Angel Music a few years back and hardly out of the case since. There are marks on the lacquer near the sound-hole (from my watch strap, unfortunate habit of wearing watch on the right hand) and light buckle marks on the back. No cracks or warps or anything of that kind. Original Gibson hardshell flight case lined with velvety stuff. I've owned it from new.
Difficult to value because of rarity (last one was made in 97). The most recent eBay UK sale I can find went for £920, better cosmetically but with retrofitted pickup. Mine is unmolested. Will take £750 here. Guitar is in Suffolk.
