Should be ok.
The other thing is, isn't a triple MTB crankset for a chainline which is given by a 135mm MTB hub?
Like 54mm an such for the outside ring? -

Bloody hell I didn't think about that.
I shall have to check to see whether the middle ring lines up with the middle of my cassette when I assemble. hopefully my shorter BB will help compensate for 130mm rear spacing?
thanks fo the help.
I have an old 90s deore LX m550 triple crankset which I plan to put on my claud butler tourer. I am aware that it requires a 122.5 length BB, The BB in my claud at the moment feels very solid, no play whatsoever and runs flawlessly so I am reluctant to spend money on a new one, However the axle measures perhaps 121mm, would this 1.5 different throw my chainline or shifting out? Any help would be great. Thanks
