This amused me over lunch. Mark Steel on the fury of road rage against cyclists...

Oh dear, everyone one of those cyclsits sound as though they really need cycle training. I couldn;t imagine travelling daily with that level of fear/torment/abuse.

By the way, I saw one of those skips yesterday swerving to the side on Tower Bridge to block cyclist. What a twat.

Sometimes a driver will lean out of the window and scream "GET OUT THE WAY", when you're innocently at the side of the road

I got hit by a car today. turning right without indicating while I was on the outside overtaking. managed to swerve and my front basket cushioned the blow. I wasn't hurt at all (probably lucky). We both apologised to each other (not sure why I said sorry, I think that was my posh school upbringing). Still, left a decent scratch in the side of her car, but not a scratch on me. Maybe you could use this to back up your 'racks are great' arguments ed? ;)
