May Bank Holiday Weekend Ride

Planning ahead here. Anyone in for a ride over the bank holiday weekend at the end of May?

Looking at about 80 miles, starting North to Sheringham then down the coast to Hemsby and back into Norwich, or in reverse depending on wind direction. Pub/food stops as required.

Any takers, if so which day suits best?

Am into it, dates depending. Hmmmmmm. Which bike to take!

I need a practise ride before the Norwich 100.

May seem a daft question (mine usually are!) but is this a spin via a few pubs or lycra'd up road session?

I suspect the former. I'm meant to be doing a different lycra ride but if it looks like it won't happen, I'min for this.

Looking at 90-100, so far there's two others (not from this forum) and we'll all be geared and lycra'd.
Pace won't be brutal, it's more about getting used to that long in the saddle.

Heading east to hemsby, up round the coast to stiffkey, staying as close to coast as possible all the way, then back roads back into Norwich. Can offer free parking if you want to start in Norwich.

Pace won't be much over 15 average, that's a fixed-friendly speed. As mentioned, it's more about distance and time in the saddle than speed.

I'll ride in from home then and meet you at station then probably head off home from stiffkey area
